October 2 news, Avatr Technology President Chen Zhuo posted an official announcement: Avatr T09 will complete its global premiere on October 12 at the 2026 Paris International Motor Show, officially positioned as a "500,000-yuan-class tech new flagship". It should be noted that according to information previously announced by Avatr, the T09 global premiere is scheduled for October 11 and will officially debut at the Paris Motor Show.
In addition, the new car has completed filing in the 411th batch announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and is planned to be officially released in the fourth quarter of 2026, with deliveries starting within the year. From the timing perspective, the T09's premiere is set on the international stage of the Paris Motor Show. Avatr's signal is clear: this is not just a new car, but a leap for the brand from the 200,000 to 400,000 range directly into the 500,000-class market. In terms of appearance, the Avatr T09 abandons the fastback coupe route of the Avatr 11 and 12, turning to a square and substantial flagship SUV style, with visual volume clearly approaching the full-size direction. The front face adopts a silver closed grille, supplemented by a fine dot matrix structure inside. The front design is inspired by "Shang Ding Long Zu", with the brand LOGO as the core design element, equipped with split headlights and diamond cutting technology, offering high recognition when lit, and providing three front face style options.
In terms of dimensions, the Avatr T09 measures 5285/2025/1810 (or 1820) mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3150 mm, adopting a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, positioned as a large luxury SUV. Compared with direct competitors, the Li Auto L9 is 5218/1998/1800 mm with a wheelbase of 3105 mm, and the AITO M9 is 5230/1999/1800 mm with a wheelbase of 3110 mm. The T09 maintains an advantage in all three dimensions: length, width, and wheelbase, with a wheelbase 45 mm longer than the Li Auto L9 and 40 mm longer than the AITO M9. Tires are offered in two specifications: 255/50R21 and 275/45R22. Optional configurations include various wheel rim styles, roof glass, roof rack, electric pedals, etc.
In terms of power, the Avatr T09 debuts the new intelligent super hybrid technology, offering two plug-in hybrid solutions: ① The base version is equipped with a 1.5T hybrid engine plus front and rear dual motors. The engine has a maximum power of 110 kW, the dual motors have peak powers of 180 kW and 310 kW respectively, the combined motor power is 490 kW, and the top speed is 220 km/h; ② The flagship version is equipped with a 2.0T hybrid engine plus three-motor distributed electric drive. The engine has a maximum power of 155 kW, the three motors have peak powers of 180 kW, 225 kW, and 225 kW respectively, the combined motor power is 630 kW. Under WLTC conditions, the filed pure electric range data is divided into three versions: 300 km, 320 km, and 330 km, with comprehensive range exceeding 1200 km. For a large SUV with a curb weight of over 3 tons, this range data is competitive. In terms of cabin, the Avatr T09 is equipped with the HarmonySpace 5 cockpit, built-in with the MoLA large model multi-dimensional intelligent agent, focusing on natural continuous dialogue and scenario-based intelligent recommendations, supporting proactive services based on scenarios. The interior adopts a wine-red theme, creating a strong luxury atmosphere, equipped with multiple large screens for multi-screen interaction, a car refrigerator, and a rear entertainment screen. All six independent seats support heating, ventilation, and massage functions, and the front row is equipped with zero-gravity mode. The square body outline ensures headroom and legroom for the third row, and the second-row center aisle design also makes it easier for third-row passengers to enter and exit.
In terms of intelligent driving, the Avatr T09 is equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 advanced intelligent driving system, based on the new-generation four-LiDAR hardware architecture, supporting full-scenario advanced intelligent driving assistance and automatic parking. It should be noted that the Avatr T09 is "the first truly full-scale cooperation model" between Avatr and Huawei. Huawei's vehicle control, lighting, voice, intelligent driving, and other technologies will all be applied to the new car—previously, cooperation between the two parties was more focused on the partial level of "intelligent driving + cockpit", while the T09 means Huawei technology's comprehensive involvement from chassis vehicle control to intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving. In terms of chassis, the Avatr T09 is equipped with the new Taihang intelligent control technology, integrating a distributed electric drive system and closed dual-chamber air suspension, supporting rear-wheel steering and crab mode. A large SUV over 5.2 meters long achieves a minimum turning radius of 4 meters. Huawei Qiankun XMC digital chassis technology is deeply integrated with the Taihang intelligent control system across all domains, adopting unique innovative algorithms to achieve multi-modal vehicle-road perception fusion and spatiotemporal AI suspension control, actively adjusting suspension damping according to road conditions.
