September 18 news: Changan Qiyuan Q06 will officially launch on September 23. The new car has already begun pre-sales, with 9 configurations available, offering both pure electric and extended-range powertrains. The pre-sale price is 149,900 to 191,900 yuan, and the pre-sale reservation price is 147,900 to 189,900 yuan. The official price will be announced on the launch day. The Q06 is positioned as a mid-size SUV, with dimensions of 4837×1970×1670 mm and a wheelbase of 2940 mm. A width approaching two meters, plus a wheelbase approaching three meters, leaves a relatively large layout space for the cabin. Based on the configurations announced so far, both front and rear passengers are taken care of.

The front passenger seat offers a zero-gravity seat, and seat ventilation, heating, and massage cover both front and rear rows. The rear row also has a 15.6-inch entertainment screen and a small table, and a car refrigerator is also on the configuration list. On weekend outings with family, rear passengers can watch videos and store personal items, with corresponding spaces for both. For sun protection, the new car offers rear electric sunshades and privacy glass. On summer afternoons, when sunlight comes in through the side windows, the sunshade will be a frequently used feature. Beyond the screens, the rear sun protection and seat functions are also worth noting.

There are a few details in the storage section worth mentioning separately. The pure electric version is equipped with a 196L front trunk, featuring a wet/dry multi-purpose design with a built-in drain hole. When camping, items with water can be stored separately from the luggage in the rear, making cleanup more convenient. The front trunk supports "tap to open" and can also be operated via voice, the infotainment system, and the mobile app. When your hands are full, having one more way to open it is convenient. This kind of front compartment space is more suitable for items you need to access frequently. The total trunk volume is 782L, using a two-layer structure, with the upper layer close to 700L and an additional 83L hidden space below. Frequently used luggage goes in the upper layer, while miscellaneous items go in the lower layer, making it less likely for things to get mixed up when retrieving them. The car provides a total of 38 storage spaces, allowing personal items to be placed in different spots.

The cabin offers three color schemes: Yunmeng Purple, Zhuguang Orange, and Shuanying Black. A full LCD instrument cluster is retained ahead of the driver, with a floating central control screen in the middle, plus a HUD. Driving information can be viewed in front of the driver, while the central control screen handles navigation and entertainment functions. The steering wheel adopts a three-spoke design. The system uses Changan Tianshu Cockpit 2.0, equipped with the Tianshu intelligent agent "Xiao'an." For assisted driving, it debuts the Tianshu Pilot Ultra, with a LiDAR on the roof, adopting end-to-end technology and featuring urban navigation assist capability. The Ultra here is one tier within the Tianshu Pilot lineup; the same series also includes Pro, Max, and Ultimate.

The exterior adopts the Qiyuan family's Fuguang aesthetics, with a closed front face paired with a continuous daytime running light strip, and the brand logo placed in the center. The side waistline rises toward the rear, and the rear also uses a continuous light cluster, with dot-matrix light sources added within the light strip. The lower body combined with the wide body gives the overall stance a sporty style. There are seven body colors in total, including Songying Black, Yunfan White, Fuguang Silver, and Tianji Gray, as well as more distinctive Luoxia Purple, Liuguang Emerald, and Weixun Rose. Different color choices are offered for both interior and exterior, so users who prefer understated color schemes or bright body colors each have options. There are relatively many powertrain choices. The pure electric single-motor models have two power outputs, 225kW and 245kW, and there is also a dual-motor version with a combined power of 330kW, equipped with dual-motor torque vectoring control technology. The specific configurations of the single-motor and dual-motor models need to be checked according to the corresponding version.
